The Role

A front-end Developer Lead should be proficient in JavaScript and existing web standards, be able to work with emerging technologies, and continue to grow their skill set. They will work with clients to turn ideas into reality in a fast-paced environment using rapid development principles and microservice-based architectures and lead other developers and front-end duties on one or multiple projects at a time.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives, design and code the front-end component of the user stories, unit test your code and commit it into the repository.
• Design, build, learn, and iterate using agile methodologies.
• Create proof of concepts and products directly for clients.
• Work on cross-functional teams with UX designers and business strategists.
• Ability to lead front-end efforts on client projects and deliver on time.
• Coaching and mentoring junior developers on the team.

 

Desired Skill & Experience

• 4+ years experience in HTML/CSS and able to develop valid client-side markup.
• 4+ years experience with JavaScript.
• 1+ year experience with single-page application frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, etc.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager is a big plus.
• Knowledge of CSS support for both modern and legacy browsers.
• An impeccable eye for detail with the ability to match your UI to any design in a cross-browser environment.
• Ability to self-manage during projects and proactively raise issues/concerns to the team.
• Ability to lead one or more front-end developers on a project.
• A desire to own a project from beginning to end, with a strong sense of pride in a job exceptionally done.

Desired, but not required:

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager is a big plus.
• Knowledge or experience using other Salesforce or Adobe solutions, such as: 
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • Adobe Target.
  • Adobe Campaign. 
  • Magento.
